A Perfect Harmony

Healing through art…

There is a stillness in the mind of every artist, where there is perfect harmony with their brush.

I find an unconscious freedom to express my inner self, without judgement or criticism.

I can walk within my soul, drink it up, and begin to pour it out on paper.

There is such a freedom in it....

that no one can duplicate, because it is my secret place a refuge if I may, an escape from all the noise.

Small details in my work draw me into a place where no thoughts are turning and I find myself in another place, just for a moment…

where my mind is at a place of rest and my brush just moves with the strokes within me.
